Many sick appointment openings are made available everyday, Monday through Saturday. We always reserve open time in our schedule to see any sick child who needs to be seen. If you have a sick child who needs to be seen for an appointment, we encourage you to call the office as early as possible, starting at 9:00am.
It is not necessary to page the physicians before 9:00am to schedule a sick appointment, unless there is an "urgent emergency." Examples of urgent emergencies are listed in the Urgent Emergency webpage from the drop down menu above.
During our regular hours, if our staff or physician determines that the problem requires urgent evaluation, then arrangements to have an urgent appointment will be made. If an urgent problem comes up when the office is closed, then it will be necessary to page the on-call physician.
